Today you may ask yourself, “do I really want to do this? Do I really want to do that? Am I sure that this is what I need to do in order to fulfill my own personal true happiness?” I am here to tell you that you absolutely should do what is in your highest good.
We oftentimes allow negative thoughts or self-defeating self-talk to sway us in the opposite direction of where we really should be going. Instead of going forward, we are going backwards. Instead of making progress, we are regressing. Instead of living, we are dying. No two can exist at the same time, so we are either doing one or the other.
Our neverending foe, the ego, challenges us to STOP right where we are and stand still. It tells us, “don’t do anything rash; don’t do anything abrupt; don’t do anything that is going to disrupt us (notice the key word “us”) from changing. If we (again, keyword “we”) change what we know, we are headed for failure, disappointment and hurt. The ego tells us, “you don’t want to do anything that will cause you to lose what you have.” And, that hurting chid inside of us responds, “you know what? You are absolutely correct.” At that moment, we have given our power away to the insecurities and fear that has always inhibited us from moving forward. We therefore remain stagnant and this issue will yet reappear at a later date and time, like a television sitcom in syndication.
What do you really have to lose? Can anything get any worse than it already is by taking this action? If the answer is “yes,” then you may want to re-think your course of action. BUT, if the answer is a resounding, “NO,” then, it may be time for you to tak the courageous step of change, and usher in a new and exciting phase in your life. The green light is on! Go for it. Absolutely!
Blessings, Love and Light, Goddess Tamara
